Maria Jeglinska
After graduating from ECAL in 2007, Maria Jeglinska opened her design and research studio in Warsaw in 2012. Since then she has participated in several international design events. One recent example: she designed the set for the exhibition Marie-Laure de Noailles, peintres. Conversation at Villa Noailles in Hyères in 2024.
Botanical inspiration
For her first collaboration with Tectona, Maria Jeglinska conceived two trays in lacquered wood with the appearance of framed paintings. The abstract motifs, lines and circles, are inspired by the stems and buds of hollyhocks.
